My comments: My comments: I just barely came home from the midnight showing. While I watched the movie I was thinking about what I would write about this movie when I got home. Should I write and tell everyone what a great movie this was and how much I enjoyed it? Or should I confess to everyone and say I didn't like it at all?
Let me clarify something: I have never been a big fan of the Indiana Jones movies, but I have seen all of them. So I won't say I didn't enjoy them but they are not my favorite either. During the movie I really tried to get over the fact that Indiana Jones's character has always been unbelievable to me. But I can proudly announce that I did get over it and I tried to focus on the story, not on how many unsurvivable things have already happened and why everyone is still alive. So if I were a huge Indi fan I would say this was a good movie. If I were a normal movie watcher who had seen all of the Indiana Jones movies I would say this movie was a parody of all the previous Indiana Jones movies. But if I am true to myself and write as a movie critic, I would have to say this was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. I have believed for a long time that Hollywood is running out of ideas for new movies, and this movie is another example of that. But let's be honest: this movie wan't made for me. We all know that this movie was made for the Indiana Jones fans and because it would be very good money for the moviemakers, so I won't post any more negative things bcause it won't be appropriate for others who really admire this movie and Indiana Jones. So, Dear Reader, if you are one of those who loves the Indiana Jones movies and you are a big fan, then please don't hesitate to go and watch this movie because I do want to hear your side of the story and how much you liked it. I believe that no matter how bad a movie turns out, we should watch it at least once, and if you love movies you will never feel you have wasted your money or your time.
I also have to say that even though Harrison Ford shouldn't get an Oscar for his acting in this movie, I still hope they finally give him an honorary Oscar for his life's work, for the sake of us movie lovers.

Prince Caspian

"Prince Caspian" finds the Pevensie siblings pulled back into the land of Narnia, where a thousand years have passed since they left. The children are once again enlisted to join the colorful creatures of Narnia in combating an evil villain who prevents the rightful Prince from ruling the land. My Comments: Wow...... Do you like special effects? Then don't hesitate, don't think, just get up, get up now from your room, close down this blog and go see it if you haven't seen it yet. If you are still hesitating and you haven't left, then let me also tell you that usually when I go to a movie I take notes about my criticisms of the movie, funny parts, etc, and normally I check my watch to see how much time is left in the movie. So while I was taking down notes about this movie (not that I was able to write much, because I was so wrapped up in the story) it occurred to me to check my watch to see what time it was, but then I realized that I didn't want to know because I was afraid that the movie would be over too soon! It's a great movie that grabs you right from the beginning, and you will enjoy it all the way to the end. Of course there will be moments when you wish it would go faster, but just when you have that thought, the moment will pass and you will already be enjoying the next exciting moment. Great movie, great acting, and definitely superb visual effects. Don't forget to vote.

My comments: Well done! I wasn't expecting too much, but what could I have expected when I had never even heard of Speed Racer before I saw the preview? The preview convinced me to go see it, and of course the fact that Susan Sarandon is in it helped too. I wasn't disappointed; in fact, I was pleasantly surprised because it was so much better than I expected it to be. At first the colors bothered me, but then after I got used to them, I started to actually enjoy how colorful the movie was. I had to keep telling myself that this was originally a cartoon. One of the things that surprised me the most and what almost kept me from going to see it was that I was afraid the acting would be bad. In fact it wasn't bad at all! I was impressed that even though this movie was probably made completely within the four walls of a studio, the way the actors made their characters come alive made my imagination take flight. In short, I have to say that it is a very well done movie, and too bad I wasn't watching it in an IMAX theater.

O yeah, I can't forget to mention my favorite actor in the whole movie: the monkey. Well done, my little friend! (Don't forget to vote.)

Starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Gwyneth Paltrow as his lovely assistant Pepper Potts.

My comments: Most hero movies are about heroes who have inborn powers they use to save the world from impending doom. I loved that this movie was different, I loved that the movie had to do with real life situations, war weapons, lies, and money. I also loved that Iron Man's character is believable--I mean that if I can believe that someone can invent a motorbike at the age of 6, then I can definitely believe that at age of 30 that someone can became Iron Man. I didn't expect too much when I first went to see it, but it was so much fun that this movie is going to be the first one I add to my dvd collection this year.(Don't forget to vote)
