Have you ever noticed how the movies you enjoy the most, or the movies that truly change the way you see things never seem to get awards? Here is the chance for we movie-watchers to vote on our own favorites and recognize the movies that mean something to us.

It's not a good movie, but it's not a bad movie either. The plot is very good, and at some points it is even exciting, but the script is one of the worst so far this year. Other than Brandon Fraser, not one of the other actors knows the first thing about acting. This movie really missed Rachel Weisz, and if the accting had been better this movie would have been a blast this year.
One last thing: Today I watched a movie called Blueberry Nights, and Rachel Weisz plays in it. Go rent it and see for yourself why there's no way they could have afforded her talent in the Mummy. PS: Did you know she is half Hungarian? :)
Hello everyone, I have decided that is time for us to take the next step and start thinking about a webpage. I have already made the first steps and I would like to ask your help to build it. I need creative ideas and beneficial suggestions. Please note that the purpose of the webpage is also going to be the nomination of movies and actors for the award. If you have any good ideas please email me at peoples.award@gmail.com
Thanks in advance!

More about this blog
I was thinking the other day about how so many deserving movies just never make it to the World of Awards, and the ones that do often are boring, unaccessible, and/or uninteresting to common audiences. Not to criticize the Oscars (because I think an Oscar is the highest award an actor or a movie can receive), but it seems that what normal audiences like, value, or enjoy is not even a factor in what makes a movie or an actor the "best." For example, a few months ago I saw Things We Lost in the Fire. It is a remarkably good movie with a superb message, and Benicio Del Toro's acting was fantastic and real. I was hoping he would at least get a nomination for an Oscar this year, but no one ever mentioned him. And even though it was an excellent movie, very few people have even heard of it. So I thought that it was time to create an award that comes from the people and is presented by the people. Maybe I am a little naive, but I believe that anything is possible if we all put our heads together. This award has to come from us to actors and movie-makers as a sign of our acknowledgment of and respect for their work. PS: Since this idea was born I have learned that there is an award that seems similar to what I would like us to create, but in reality it is not even close. If you want to check it out please do so here:http://www.pcavote.com/pca/

I agree with the last comment, it was entertaining, but the acting was really evidently bad... Jet Li was good too tho...
