P.S. I love you

Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life - a passionate, funny, and impetuous Irishman named Gerry. So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. So it's a good thing he planned ahead. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief, but in rediscovering herself. The first message arrives on Holly's 30th birthday in the form of a cake, and to her utter shock, a tape recording from Gerry, who proceeds to tell her to get out and "celebrate herself". In the weeks and months that follow, more letters from Gerry are delivered in surprising ways, each sending her on a new adventure and each signing off in the same way; P.S. I Love You. Holly's mother and best friends begin to worry that Gerry's letters are keeping Holly tied to the past, but in fact, each letter is pushing her further into a new future. With Gerry's words as her guide, Holly embarks on a journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into a new beginning for life. My Comments: I loved it, I loved it, I loved it, and guess what? It wasn't nominated for an Oscar, not even for a cute little Golden Globe. Please, can someone tell me why? It is a beautiful story with great acting and a meaningful lesson for so many of us. I've mentioned the movie's title to people so many times, but most haven't even heard of it. Just like "Things We Lost In the Fire," no one knows about this movie. It's too bad because it is a fantastic romantic comedy for women and men: it's perfect for a date or even just for a fun night at home. It is funny, it is sad, and you may shed a few tears, but this movie will definitely make the list of your favorite movies. (Please don't forget to vote)

I absolutely loved this movie! Its one of the best I've seen in a long time! I cant believe that it didnt become more popular. My husband and I went to see it randomly and both came out balling. He was the one who suggested we buy it as soon as it comes out. I wouldnt be able to watch it often because its such and emotionally draining experiance. Although, I definatley recomend it to EVERYONE, I have never seen a movie like it!

I absolutely loved this movie. I'm so surprised that it didn't get more attention. The story is heartwrenching and will definitely take you on an emotional rollercoaster, but it is worth it. The story is believable and the acting is genuine, so you're sure to get wrapped up in it. I would recommend that everyone grab a box of tissues and sit down to watch it - you won't regret it.
