In this modern day romantic tale, Penelope is about a young girl's inspiring journey, a mysterious family secret and the power of love. My comments: Penelope is a cute movie for those who love chick flicks. All of my friends who saw it said they liked it. To be honest I'm having a hard time writing about it because I wasn't that impressed by it but I also wouldn't like to prejudice anyone against the movie. I liked it but I wouldn't watch it again for at least a year. Maybe it's just because I had been looking forward to seeing it for so long--they delayed its release by several months--and I was expecting too much. I would like to hear others' opinion on it. Please share your opinion and also don't forget to vote.

Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life - a passionate, funny, and impetuous Irishman named Gerry. My Comments: I loved it, I loved it, I loved it, and guess what? It wasn't nominated for an Oscar, not even for a cute little Golden Globe. Please, can someone tell me why? It is a beautiful story with great acting and a meaningful lesson for so many of us. I've mentioned the movie's title to people so many times, but most haven't even heard of it. Just like "Things We Lost In the Fire," no one knows about this movie. It's too bad because it is a fantastic romantic comedy for women and men: it's perfect for a date or even just for a fun night at home. It is funny, it is sad, and you may shed a few tears, but this movie will definitely make the list of your favorite movies. (Please don't forget to vote)
